Over the past week while my reflexology clinic is still closed due to the "QLD HEALTH COVID19 restrictions", I have had time to think about the "QLD HEALTH DEPTS" classification of my Reflexology Clinic. ⠀

At first I was really, really,really (is that enough really) upset about the clarification of direction and the decision that my business falls under the massage parlour / non- therapeutic massage category. (I actually don't even do MASSAGE!) ⠀

After a few days of thinking about the decision and to consider what this whole situation is doing to my mental and physical health eg). not sleeping / stressed out to the MAX / low energy / teary / fibromyalgia in my quads coming back / brain fog / short tempered - I came to the conclusion that I have put a LOT OF MY ENERGY stressing out over this situation which has been going on since the 11th May and that perhaps its time to just LET IT GO because it’s affecting my health. (I can't even believe my fingers have typed that...... LET IT GO!!! ). ⠀

My thoughts now are that the "UNIVERSE IS GIVING ME A WELL DESERVED 4 MONTH BREAK FOR MY HIGHEST GOOD"- my stress over loosing clients and not having a business to come back to has reduced.⠀
I am even laughing at some of the texts my clients are sending me as listed below⠀
1).Tracey - time to repaint that FRONT RED DOOR ANOTHER COLOUR! (yes I have a red front door)⠀
2). I didn't know you were running a ?? massage parlour⠀
3). looks like the Chief Health Officer's Office needs enlightenment⠀

What is the alpha state of relaxation 👀 💤 🛏? .............
The alpha state of relaxation is when your brain isn’t totally at rest, but it’s not attempting to tackle anything that requires concentration. During a reflexology session your brain’s alpha waves are usually dominating which places you in a state of wakeful deep relaxation. In this state of deep relaxation your body is able to commence the task of rebalancing and healing itself (homeostasis).

Unfortunately my Reflexology business has been classified as "NON-THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE" and has been lumped in with the "massage parlour" category by the Chief Health Officer at QLD Health. I have been in contact with the QLD Health Department since 11/5/2020 trying to get an answer and have been given several conflicting directions and yesterday I finally got an official answer in writing.⠀

While this is extremely frustrating, all I can do is follow the QLD HEALTH Direction and wait patiently until then. Who knows they may even bring stage 3 forward, so I will wait until the week prior 6/7/2020 to phone you and book your appointments.

What have you all been up to in this lockdown period?

Its a strange feeling to spend the past 30 days not being able to work in my clinic but we are all in this together to #flattenthecurve .

My hands have been busy and I have also been up to some NOT SO GOOD activities 👿
Laying on the 🛋 watching 📺
Baking and eating lots of 🍰
Having a glass of 🍷 every night for medicinal purposes of course
Knitting 🧶 a babies cardigan
Sewing 🧵 Roman Blinds

I MUST BE GETTING BORED ! Now I am about to brush up my Instagram posting skills by doing some online courses.

I am so lucky to live directly across the road fro

I am so lucky to live directly across the road from a park. I can sit at my desk and see some wonderful things happening over there right now.
Families at the park together- Mum Dad and the 3 kids riding their bikes around the walking track together, families walking around the park together- Mum running, Dad with the girls on their scooters. ⠀

Parents are actually engaging with their children at the park and don’t seem to be attached to their phones (not trying to offend anyone here at all). There is family connection happening right now in a very different way over at our park. Of course social distancing is being practiced by everyone except for our furry friends who can not understand why they can't stop to get a pat from people - like they usually do. 📷soundwise health

It takes time. Take each step one day at a time. Just try to be in a better place today mentally and emotionally, than you were in yesterday.
Sometimes you’ll feel like your finally over something + happy again, and the wound will reopen. Don’t give up. don’t get discouraged.

For example the tips of your fingers and your toes

For example the tips of your fingers and your toes all relate to the sinus regions. If your nose is blocked try rubbing the tips of your fingers or toes and notice if your nose is becoming unblocked?⠀

While were are on the fingers and toes, just below your big toe nail , or your thumb nail - on the skin just under the moon of the nail, this area relates to your jaw. If you have toothache try applying firm pressure to this area or rubbing this area for temporary relief of a toothache.
